This course is suitable for those who are required to undertake initial CPR certification or annual CPR refresher training. It is primarily intended for electrical workers and other personnel who may be required to act as a safety observer during low voltage operations. In most states, there is a requirement that electrical workers maintain current first aid and resuscitation skills. This course meets the requirement for annual CPR and low voltage rescue refresher training.

A basic to moderate English language, literacy and numeracy skill level is required.

Additional PPE may be required depending on the course requirements.

The Australian Resuscitation Council recommends that refresher training is done every twelve (12) months.
